Reddylite being used in Nepal by dentistMr Plowman, a dental surgeon from West Sussex ran a dental camp within a medical camp organized by the Gurka Welfare Scheme (GWS) which is the Nepal end of the UK Charity – Gurka Welfare Trust – at their Area Welfare Centre in Gulmi District, which is about 280 miles west of Kathmandu. With him he took 2 of our Reddylite II’s. In his words -

“I use the oroscopic Zeon light as a routine means of lighting up my patients in my practice and your light compared favorably when providing basic emergency dental treatment (limited to the extraction of teeth).

The lights were very ‘light’ to transport, which will be ideal for taking to the even remoter areas which have no road access and everything is carried by the porters. They were very comfortable to wear all day and gave an excellent amount of well focused light.

They also proved beneficial for gynaecological examinations that were carried out on the Medical Camp”
